Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 21, 2026

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform users of Browserbeam about how Bright Apex, registered in the Netherlands with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 99295466 and VAT identification number NL005378623B25 ("Bright Apex", "we", "us", or "our"), operating as "Browserbeam", processes personal data and your rights in this respect.

We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about our policy, or our practices with regards to your personal information, please contact us at [email protected].

Browserbeam collects personal data from its users. The user's acceptance of this privacy policy occurs upon the first interaction with the service via the website browserbeam.com or any of its subdomains.

Browserbeam's goal is to ensure that the privacy of your company and that of your customers is protected at the highest level when you use the Browserbeam browser API service for web automation and AI agent workflows.

Data collection

We collect the following data:

  1. Your email address, IP address, and browser information for authentication purposes.
  2. Your email and associated product usage data for product analytics and improving the service.
  3. Your API request logs, browser session metadata, and usage metrics (runtime, actions performed, session counts).
  4. Your payment transactions summary (amount and payment method, not the credit card details).
  5. Your company or organization name if you provide it.

Storing your data

Browserbeam stores the following data in our database:

  1. Session Metadata: We store metadata about your browser sessions including session IDs, creation time, duration, actions performed, and status. We do not store the content of web pages you visit through the API.
  2. API Usage Data: We log API requests for rate limiting, billing, and debugging purposes. This includes request timestamps, endpoints called, and response status codes.
  3. Account Data: Your account information, including email address, API keys (hashed), and subscription details, is stored securely in our database.

Important note: Browser sessions run in isolated contexts and are destroyed when closed. Page content is only held in memory during the session lifetime and is never persisted to disk. During processing, data may be temporarily stored to pass through internal system components (such as queues, message brokers, or temporary buffers).

Each browser session runs in an isolated browser context with separate cookies, storage, and cache. One customer's session cannot access another's data.
